Keeping it Confidential: Holding Shares on Trust

In April 2014, the Government issued proposals to implement a central registry of shareholders of companies, alongside the existing Companies House filings. This will apply to individuals or collectives of individuals that ultimately own or control more than 25% of a company’s shares or voting rights.
