The Revolving Door - How to Deal with the Departing Director

One of the most delicate issues facing businesses is where a director with a shareholding either indicates a desire to leave the business or is found by the board to be wanting and is then asked to leave.

Either situation needs to be dealt with very carefully in order to avoid sustaining long-term damage to the business. A Bad Apple in Every Barrel...?

A blogger by the name of BirdAbroad has reported the rather surprising discovery of a crop of fake Apple stores in the relatively obscure provincial city of Kunming in China.

On first inspection, BirdAbroad reported that the stores had the same look and feel as an actual Apple Store. The store had the signature minimalist interior designs, the winding staircases and even the staff were wearing the blue t-shirt uniforms together with name tags. Yet despite these strong authenticity indicators, BirdAbroad found the interior decoration to be of low quality and, most importantly, one of the store signs read “Apple Stoer” which led to the conclusion that these stores were, in fact, entire fakes!  Trainee Solicitor Dilini Lokuaddassuriyage explains…
