|
The men were found guilty of criminal copyright infringement even though The Pirate Bay site itself contained no copyright content and merely acted as an indexing site that linked to other sites from which people could watch films and television programmes.
Even though some of those sites may have held copyright material unlawfully, many sites may have been lawfully holding copyright content.

Silverman Sherliker partners Dennis Lee and John Abbott have recently advised one of the UK’s best known sites on these issues. |
